Walnut Studio Cabinets

These solid walnut cabinets are designed for studio use where ease-of-transport is not a high priority. Beautifully built, stained and finished.

Holds 22 single-width panels in a single row. Holds 4 single-width panels in the rear which is usually used for power entry and exit, logo panels, etc. Plenty of depth for mounting a power supply and DC cable harness. Rubber feet prevent slipping from patching forces. Panel mounting screws included. Modules and power components not included.

Portable Cabinets

Portable cabinets are made of strong, straight, MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and covered in tough vinyl. Corners are protected by metal stampings. A strong handle on top and tall feet on the bottom (to clear handle when stacked) are provided. All hardware is painted black. Hinges and latches are offered to connect cabinets together for transport and storage (see QCPL below).

Rack Frames

Rack frames providing mounting in an industry-standard 19" rack cabinet. When building a rack frame synthesizer, a power supply and DC cable harness must be mounted in the user-supplied cabinet behind the panel. On rack systems, it is UP TO YOU to enclose the power system and prevent access to dangerous voltages!

The QCR8 rack frame allows synthesizer modules to be mounted in a standard 19" rack. The frame is 8 module spaces wide and 5U (8.75") tall.

Made from 1/8" (.125") aluminum side brackets and solid 3/8" aluminum bar stock for rigidity.  Paint and texture matches modules. Module mounting screws included.
