Subject: Synthesizer.com system Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2001 14:48:23 -0800 From: Bernie Bean To: roger@synthesizers.com Well it took me a year to buy my system and I must say with one look at the systems I can see it was well worth the wait. I am glad I stuck with my decision to purchase from Synthesizer.com. Your willingness to work through configuration issues and provide pre-sales support are unsurpassed. In todays environment of diminished customer support you and Synthesizers.com stand a beacon of quality and integrity. If this is what comes from **not** have phone lines and 3 panels color fold outs and ads in XYZ magazine then maybe the certain other members of the modular synthesizer industry should take note. As you may recall I purchased 2 of your keyboard controllers last year and they are really nice, they play well and look really good but the QSS44 system is a showcase of design, form and function. Envelope generators that are so sharp that could cut diamonds in half. Filters, both the Q150 and Q107 are simply awe inspiring Bob Moog would even be impressed. Q106/Q141 VCOs with excellent rise times with no ring or over shoot which make for very crisp clear tone and they track like a blood hound to boot. Q108 VCA that are ultra fast with no pops but are truly off when they are suppose to be. Your panel layout is easy to read I have missed the large knobs over the years and am glad to have them back in a system that I can grow as my needs increase. My Polyfusion has large knobs but at $1000.00 for a used VCO or $2500.00 for a crappy sequencer it won't get any bigger. The Systhesizer.com systems have put the Polyfusion in serious jeopardy. I must compliment you on the Q105 this may seem a small thing to some but the S105 is truly a first rate LAG processor I can only recall 3 other examples of such functionally; Oberhiem, Moog and ARP. I could ramble on for every but I am not telling you anything you don't already know, you have designed and built one of the best full featured and solid synthesizers in its price range. i.e. Dopefer, Analouge Systems and Analouge Solutions. I can make this statement with out reservation because I own and have played all of these brands. The QSS44 says come play me! Bernie
